CS Classic Wrestling Photos will soon have exclusive access to the huge collection of posed and in-ring action photos from Stu Hart's world-renowned Stampede Wrestling promotion based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The promotion ran from 1948 to 1989. Some 1,200 wrestlers appeared throughout the sprawling territory, everyone from world champions and international stars to veteran grapplers and young athletes just kicking off their careers.
Stampede photographer Bob Leonard shot thousands of images of the personalities and the matches over 28 years of the promotion's 42-year history. Most of these photos have never been seen before – only a select few have been released for publication in hard-cover wrestling books now on the stands. But much of the collection will soon be available only from CS Photos.
